Terms
For buying and listening to a Mycelium Press audiobook. Last updated 8 September 2026.
These cover the reader at listen.mycelium-press.com and the Mycelium Press apps. Books we publish may have their own websites with their own terms; this is not those.
What you are buying
A personal licence to listen to an audiobook, for as long as we are able to offer it — not ownership of the recording, and not the right to pass it on. You may listen on any device you sign in to, and keep sections on a device for offline listening. You may not redistribute, resell, broadcast, upload or make copies available to anyone else.
Buying the audiobook does not give you rights to the printed book, the text, the cover, the illustrations or the recordings themselves.
Your account
- One account per person. Sign-in codes and links are for you, not to be shared.
- Keep your email account secure — anyone who can read your email can sign in as you, because that is how signing in works here.
- You can delete your account at any time, from the apps or by writing to us. Deleting it ends your access to anything you bought, and we cannot undo it.
Payment and refunds
Payment is taken by Stripe on their own checkout. We never see your card details. Prices are shown before you pay and include any tax where we are required to charge it.
If the audiobook does not work for you, write to us and we will refund it. A book you have listened to most of is a book you have read, and we may decline a refund in that case — but ask, and we would rather sort it out than argue.
Availability
We intend to keep what you have bought available to you. We cannot promise it forever: rights can change and services end. If we ever have to withdraw a title you own, we will tell you and give you a way to keep what you paid for or get your money back.
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, and offline downloads exist partly for that reason.
The apps
The apps play what your account owns. Books are bought on the web, not inside the app. Where you obtained the app, that store’s own terms also apply to your use of it.
Copyright
Everything here — the text, the recordings, the cover and the illustrations — is copyright Mycelium Press or its authors, and protected. For permissions, write to hello@mycelium-press.com.
If something goes wrong
Write to hello@mycelium-press.com. We are a small press and a real person will read it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes
If these change in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes with them, and anything that alters what you have already bought gets said before it starts.
